I was recently in Punta de Mita, Nayarit, Mexico looking at real estate. The town is a getaway for surfers and travelers looking for a slow and relaxing lifestyle. Enjoy several restaurants along the beach, like Lobster Paradise, where your toes can play in the sand, the local taco spots, like Juann Borracho Tacos, ice cream at Naef or a green juice at Pura Vida Cafe. When you’re done eating, walk the white sand beach either north or south and watch pelicans diving for fish, washed up coral and shells, or take a dive in the ocean yourself. There are several new construction condo buildings currently under construction throughout the town. In addition to condo communities, there are 6,000-10,000 square feet single family homes complete with private pools in a gated golf course community near the point.
